Ocean Crown
Shipping Ltd. was founded in Hong Kong in 1991. In order to
meet the various needs of our clients, Ocean Crown Shipping
Ltd. works with a number of overseas agents in which long working
experience leads to trusty co-operations. In return, our clients
are well assured that the transportation of their cargoes are
in good hands.
For the sake of providing quality service with expertise, Ocean
Crown Shipping Ltd. joined the professional organizations, namely,
Hongkong Association of Freight Forwarding and Logistics Ltd.
(HAFFA) and International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations
(FIATA) in 1995. In the same year, we successfully obtained
the FMC bonded license required for foreign NVOCC to operate
in the U.S.. In 1997 we acted as the Hong Kong and China agent
of Eimskip Transport B.V., the Icelandic carrier who operates
vessels from northern Europe to Iceland. Since 2001, we have
been operating closely with CK Line in Shanghai who operates
vessels from northern China seaports to Korea main ports and
Japan outside ports.
In 2002, we acquired the NVOCC license in Shanghai, China and set
up "Ocean Crown Logistics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. In the Pudong
Free Trade Zone of Shanghai, to provide and handle bond warehouse
service in Waigaoqiao. In order to cope with the U.S. customs
worldwide security regulation enforced in 2003 on the transportation
business, we successfully applied the International Carrier
Bond (ICB) which allowed us to submit cargo manifest and data
to the U.S. customs directly through the automated manifest
system (AMS).
Forwarding industry is a time-defined service industry, Ocean
Crown Shipping Ltd. works with the overseas agents closely in
order to make sure that cargoes are tracked and traced with
definite person. Should air freight service is required, we
are also available. We endeavour to meet the different demands
of our clients and provide the best logistics solution with
personal touch.
